Artist / oil painter living in Davenport who primarily paints outdoors (en plein air) a tradition of the masters that is key to attaining true-to-life color and values. All my work is done on location or created in the studio from "studies" completed in the field. Mitchell has shown throughout the greater bay area for decades, won numerous awards and moved to the coast 3 years ago to be near the scenery that inspires him the most. I am a traveling artist who paints world over to capture dramatic scenes and create the highest quality art for those who collect or simply appreciate owning something unique and special.
